Mikael Nordebäck joined the Junior Country team after showing strong form in the fall of 2017. Now the bronze medalist from the JSM season before reaching higher heights.
Why do you like to go skiing?
“I like the adrenaline you get when you go to your program. And I’ve been doing figure skating almost all my life.
Why did you start skiing?
“I wanted to play ice hockey first, but then I started in the skating school that the figure skating club in Sundbyberg arranged and thought it was fun.
What do you think your strong pages in artwork are?
What do you need to be better at?
– To express myself on the ice.
What qualities should a good figure skater have?
“You should have a good feeling when you go, and good technology, that’s important.
What figure skier do you look up to?
– Russian Roman Savosin. He is my idol.
What is your coach usually talking about?
“It’s most important that I have to express myself when I go to my program.
What would you do if you did not go skiing?
“Then I would have devoted myself to another sport.
What do you think when you compete?
“I usually try to be concentrated and calm. I think I’m going to go with confidence.
What competition are you most satisfied with so far?
– The competition at the national team during the autumn of 2017. I managed many triples there.
How would your friends describe you?
“I usually hear that I’m kind and caring.
How are you in the classroom?
– I’m pretty quiet.
What is your goal of art racing?
“It’s developing me as much as I can.
What are you going to do to get there?
“I will train goal-oriented and fight hard!
