2019 ISU World Junior Figure Skating Championship Selections

The Swedish Figure Skating Association is pleased to select Nikolaj Majorov and Selma Ihr as the athletes competing in the 2019 ISU Junior World Figure Skating Championships.

Nikolaj Majorov is an 18 year old training at the Luleå Skating Club in Luleå, Sweden, under the coaching of Irina and Alexander Majorov. Nikolaj represented the Swedish Figure Skating Association at the 2019 ISU European Figure Skating Championships and competed twice this season in the 2018 International Skating Union Junior Grand Prix Series. He finished 27that the European Championships and placed in the top ten in both of his Junior Grand Prix events. Nikolaj ranked 27th overall in the series from the 105 worldwide competitors entered for the 2018-19 season.

Selma Ihr is a 14 year old training at the Solna Skating Club in Solna under the coaching of Cecilia Willberg. Selma represented the Swedish Figure Skating Association twice this season at the 2018 International Skating Union Junior Grand Prix Series. She finished in the top ten in both of her events, which ranked her 26th overall in the series from the 169 worldwide competitors entered for the 2018-19 season.
